Landscape staff

We currently require staff for casual employment to carry out a variety of tasks in the Greater Sydney Area (mostly Nth), Central Coast, Newcastle and Mid Nth Coast. Successful applicants will need to complete 'Track Safety Awareness' & 'Electrical Awareness' training for working within railway land (course takes two full days). Duties will include planting and maintenance, weed control, bushland restoration, landscaping and general labouring duties and driving of work vehicles. The successful applicant will have the following - common sense, punctuality & ability to work in a team, horticultural/landscape/labouring experience, drivers license and transport, OHS understanding and OHS 'greencard' from Workcover. Preferred skills are bush regeneration certificate (TAFE), and/or environmental training/experience (TAFE, Uni etc). Although only casual positions at the moment, we are looking to build our team up and offer full time positions to the right people in the future.
Nursery hand - casual part time

We are currently looking for a nursery hand one day per week. The position involves general nursery (maintenance) work in our propagation nursery at Markwell (near Bulahdelah). The working hours are flexible and would suit a young parent or retired person. They would average about 7 to 8 per week. Plant identification skills and previous experience are essential.
